TBR: June 2019

I know that June is going to be a busy month. We are in the last 3 weeks of term and with that comes production along with so many other things. I will also be travelling at the end of the month, with that being said I am still setting myself quite the ambitious TBR because why not head into the month with a lot of reading goals?

With NINE books on my TBR for the month I really need to prioritise reading and really make smart decisions about what I want to get read first.

To start the month I want to finish the two books I am bringing into June from May which are ‘The Iron Trial’ By Holly Black and Cassandra Clare, I’ve been listening to it on audio and I am really enjoying it. I also want to complete ‘Everblaze’ By Shannon Messenger. This is the third book in the Keeper of Lost Cities series which I absolutely adore.

After that It could go any which way, but I think I want to read the books in a certain order, as always this is a tentative guide and could change at any time. I intend to start with ‘Empire of Storm’ By Sarah J. Maas, this part of the Throne of Glass series which I’ve been working my way through this year. Once I finish ‘The Iron Trial’ I plan to move onto ‘Norse Mythology’ By Neil Gaiman. I started the Magnus Chase series and recently saw Avengers: Endgame and it has really reignited my passion for mythology.

While I’m listening to that I hope to read ‘Sky in the Deep’ By Adrienne Young, which I believe in a Viking story. I’m hoping there is some of this Norse Mythology that plays into the story.

I then want to move onto ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ By J.K. Rowling which I also plan to listen to on audio, while also reading ‘Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard: The Hammer of Thor’ By Rick Riordan and ‘A Darker Shade of Magic’ By V.E. Schwab.
