In true Kate fashion, I wasn’t tagged in this book tag but I’m having a go anyway. I saw this tag floating around the interwebs and here we are.

This one is a no brainer. Written by two very funny people, I genuinely could not stop laughing while I was reading ‘The Greatest Love Story Ever Told’ By Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman.

I feel like most middle grade books and series give a good message but I especially this series. We follow Sophie as she learns she is in fact an elf. ‘The Keeper of Lost Cities’ by Shannon Messenger really looks at self confidence and perseverance.

Celaena from the ‘Throne of Glass’ series by Sarah J. Maas is honestly one of the most resilient, bad ass characters I’ve ever read about. She keeps on getting up when shes knocked down and truly fights the battles that need to be fought.

hello, Spider-Gwen? she literally kicks ass!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved this book,it was probably the fastest I’ve read a Throne of Glass book but I was so angry as I was reading ‘Queen of Shadows’ By Sarah J. Maas, mostly because there were characters being the worst and doing the worst things and still surviving.

I haven’t really seen this one around BookTube much, but if you like a Fae book then you will definitely enjoy this one. in ‘A Kingdom of Exile’ By S.B. Nova the Fae are intense and there is a romance that I personally really enjoyed.

I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t super surprised with the way the story went however I definitely didn’t guess it. ‘In An Absent Dream’ by Seanan McGuire, was such a good read though!

I love Seanan McGuire! I still need to get to In an Absent Dream.
