Kady, Ezra, Hanna, and Nik narrowly escaped with their lives from the attacks on Heimdall station and now find themselves crammed with 2,000 refugees on the container ship, Mao. With the jump station destroyed and their resources scarce, the only option is to return to Kerenza—but who knows what they’ll find seven months after the invasion?
Meanwhile, Kady’s cousin, Asha, survived the initial BeiTech assault and has joined Kerenza’s ragtag underground resistance. When Rhys—an old flame from Asha’s past—reappears on Kerenza, the two find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict.
With time running out, a final battle will be waged on land and in space, heroes will fall, and hearts will be broken.
both ‘Illuminae’ and ‘Gemina’ had me hooked! I picked this book up as soon as I had finished ‘Gemina’ desperate to see how the story was going to wrap up and where my favourite characters would end up!
Let me tell you, the writing, amazing! Do not get attached to anyone because you will cry at some point. At least I did… constantly.
In ‘Obsidio’ we follow the Heimdall survivors, the Hypatia survivors and finally those left on the Kerenza colony. I was so happy that we finally got to see who survived the initial invasion and the seven months since the Hypatia and Alexander fled Kerenza.
Honestly this book was action packed from the first page. Being the conclusion to a series its to be expected, but I still wasn’t ready for just how much was going on. It really sums up the series fantastically and makes you laugh and cry – well at least it did for me.
We see all our favourite characters from the first two books in the third and watch them navigate the final battle and complete the Illuminae files.
If you want to get into science fiction this is the place to start. The mixed media format is amazing and really lends its self to the story.

Good post. I learn something new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday.
It’s always helpful to read content from other writers and
practice a little something from other sites.
