Feyre survived Amarantha’s clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can’t forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas’s masterful storytelling brings this second book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights.
I don’t think I’ve been this addicted to a book/series in a while. I was able to finish the 624 page sequel to ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ in 6 days… While working full time. It’s some kind of miracle, I know.
The writing of Sarah J. Mass is just amazing. I am completely pulled into the world. She is able to make you feel one way about a character at the beginning of the story and completely reverse that thinking by the end.
I was unsure where the story was going to go after the events of ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’, wondering if it would in fact be possible to have more that could happen. Boy was I wrong. ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’ was just as action packed as the first novel.
I couldn’t put it down.
There was a great amount of action along side amazing world building – honestly if I could live in Pyrithian, I just might – as well as some incredible and realistic character development, not only for our protagonist Feyre but also for out support characters as well.
I honestly cannot wait where book #3 ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’ is going to to take up, I’m here and I’m ready to find out!
My Third book in the 2018 A to Z Challenge.
